At Bertie’s Stay & Play, we offer 4-star Knowsley Council registered home boarding in a safe, loving, and truly home-from-home environment.e

Based in Prescot, Merseyside, we are a family-run business dedicated to giving your dog the care, comfort, and attention they deserve.

During their stay, every dog is treated as part of our family. Our home is clean, secure, and features a private rear garden, with a park conveniently located just across the road for daily walks and playtime.

To ensure a calm and personalised experience, we only board one additional dog at a time (unless from the same household), alongside our friendly resident French Bulldog, Bertie.

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our top priority. All dogs must be fully vaccinated, with proof provided prior to their stay.

We offer a complimentary meet-and-greet consultation so you and your dog can get to know us, ensuring the perfect fit and giving you the opportunity to ask any questions.

Our services include:

• Daycare
• Overnight stays
• Holiday stays

Each dog receives exercise tailored to their usual routine, agreed upon at the time of booking. We ask owners to provide their dog’s regular food to maintain consistency, while we can supply beds, blankets, and home comforts. Of course, your dog is welcome to bring their own favourite items too.

For your peace of mind, we’re happy to provide regular updates, photos, and videos—so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, settled, and well cared for.
